Project Description
BUDDAH BAR in SUBIACO
An amalgamation of disjointed spaces, awkward openings and varying ceiling heights were just a few of the challenges confronting this low budget refurbishment of Subiaco's institutional curry house. A 'black box' solution using predominantly raw and recycled materials as feature finishes has given the Buddha Bar a sense of unity and discovery as you pass through from the corridor entry into the mood-lit dining spaces. Bamboo poles and decorative ceiling fans hint at an oriental theme, while the 'Miss White' wall covering from Scandinavian Wallpaper adds a final twist of sensual intrigue.
